I recommend anyone who is looking to buy Flight stuff to do it via Steam, and also recommend installing and running through steam instead of the standalone installer. If you already have it installed it probably isn't worth reinstalling though. Keep in mind if you are using steam the Flight Toolkit unfortunately doesn't properly detect the location of Flight if you have it installed in a steam library other than the default location in the steam folder. I hope to fix this at some point when I release a new version.
Was wondering the same, after reading the response earlier? Given the degree of difficulty I encountered when installing the beta on a fresh Win7 install, coupled with further problems moving the DLC to a different drive, I'm wondering what the best process would be for the new system that I'm trying to get together? I bought the Cub Deluxe through Steam, but haven't installed it onto this older system. So when the new system is ready, would I go for a Steam install of Flight and the Cub? And if I did, would I encounter any problems unlocking the DLC previously installed through GFWL? If any of you guys missed out, I do have a second copy of Microsoft Flight Complete ($48 or 22 keys). Microsoft Flight: Hawaiian Starter Bundle which includes: (Hawaiian Adventure (All Islands), Maule M-7-260C Deluxe, P-51 Mustang Basic.
Alaska Wilderness Expansion. Carbon Cub Deluxe. C-46 Basic. Mitsubish A6M2 Zero Basic. F4U Basic. P-40 Warhawk Basic. keys are items that can be purchased in the Steam Marketplace using your Steam Wallet.
Each key is worth approximately $2.18 and is used as virtual currency in the game trade world. It is a safer way to trade if there is a lack of trust. If you are interested in this form, please let me know and I will explain further. If any of you guys missed out, I do have a second copy of Microsoft Flight Complete ($48 or 22 keys). Microsoft Flight has been but today the free-to-play PC flight simulator from Microsoft becomes accessible to a much bigger audience. The game, along with all of its paid DLC content, is now available to download via, the game and content delivery platform from Valve.
Microsoft Flight Hawaiian Adventure Pack A6m2 Zero Dlc Inches
To celebrate the arrival of Microsoft Flight on Steam, there's also a new bundle that includes three of the game's DLC packs (the Hawaiian Adventure campaign and two planes; the Maule M-7-260C and the P-51 Mustang) that can be purchased for $29.99 on Steam. That's a 30 percent saving compared to buying each DLC pack separately.
A few days ago, Microsoft also released the fourth DLC pack for Microsoft Flight. This one adds the famous Japanese World War II aircraft fighter the Mitsubishi A6M2 Zero. The Zero can be purchased for $6.99. Finally, Microsoft for Microsoft Flight on Sunday. The patch (or 'title update' as Microsoft calls it) has a number of changes, bug fixes and improvements for the game.
They include fixing an issue that was preventing users who reached the 500,000 XP level from receiving their achievement and having the game get the best default graphic settings on high end PC rigs.
I started playing Microsoft Flight a while ago, shortly after it was released. I took a break from it but I bought a DLC pack for it when it was discounted on Steam back then. Recently I wanted to play the game againm, before the GFWL closes, with the content I already purchased. I am able to play the game through Steam just fine. When I logged into the game and tried activating the content, the game identified my keys just fine showing the name and download size, but when I tried to download them, it gave me a connection error. Later I tried to activate the keys on account.xbox.com - a few of them activated just fine (Hawaiian Adventure Pack, Maule M-7 260C and North American P-51 Mustang), but the rest (Mitsubishi A6M2 Zero, Alaskan Wilderness Pack, P-40 and F4U Corsair) did not, throwing an XBOS-4000 error. After that, when I logged to game, all of the codes said that they are invalid.
Somehow I managed to log into my Marketplace client later that day, but only once and from a different PC. However, I didn't found any of these DLCs on my list. I know that purchasing from Games from Windows - Live! Marketplace is disabled, but every source I found is claiming that I can still download my purchased content. I also found signs of people successfully claiming the codes from Steam on Steam community forum on as far as December 2013, as well as getting achievements for downloading a free preview which does not work for me. Do you have any clues whether I can somehow download the missing content and activate the rest of my keys, or fix the issues with the keys? Maybe half of my keys were invalid in the first place?
Maybe keys activation was disabled? Maybe I just have trouble with Marketplace, due to my ISP/network configuration? Maybe I can work around the issue by downloading the patches from a third party website, at least for the content that I activated on the website (Hawaiian pack and two airplanes). Any help or clue would be welcome and thank you in advance:). I am also unable to get the 'Download a Free Preview' achievement. www.trueachievements.com suggests that it's becuase Marketplace was closed down, but I see people obtaining this achievement www.trueachievements.com. Any clue on this one?
Edit: Just got an answer to my mail to the support. So they are still supporting the game. Original Post: It's sad, but it seems this game is dead.
Had the same problem where all my DLCs are gone and I can't redeem it as all the keys steam gives me are invalid. I sent a mail to the support on Monday (6 days ago) and didn't received a response till now.

Either my opinion that you can expect a response to such serious problems within a week is wrong or they just don't care about us customers anymore as the server are going to be shut down soon.
Its no longer available for sale but I did purchase An extra bundle as a steam gift. And forgot all about it. I cant even remember what I paid, but I think it was about $25 It includes Steam Summer Sale: Microsoft Flight Summer Sale Bundle Microsoft Flight Hawaiian Adventure Pack Microsoft Flight Maule M-7-260C Microsoft Flight North American P-51 Mustang Microsoft Flight Mitsubishi A6M2 Zero Microsoft Flight: Alaskan Wilderness Microsoft Flight - Curtiss P-40 Microsoft Flight: F4U Corsair I could send it too you as a Steam Gift if you have an account, or I could apparently send you an email that allows you to download it all, but I don't know how I would be reimbursed.:unsure. The steam version doesn't work anymore, does it?
Still works for me, but then I never un-installed it. However I did install a new OS on the same computer on a new drive and managed to point Steam at the correct location. Running it once prompts steam to install all the pre-requisites. The DLC however is another matter.
You have to use the Windows Live Marketplace Client (If it isn't already installed, you should be able to download it). Use this to download any of the DLC you have already got, or have keys for. You can also move downloaded DLC into the DLC folder (configurable within WLMC) and get the client to accept it.
It's a little finnicky:. Start downloading the content, wait until 1%, then close the WLMC. Move the DLC file into the DLC folder.
Re-open WLMC and continue the download. WLMC will check the files & see that they are complete At least, that's what I remember. FAO stonelance: For me, Flight Toolkit v0.9.4 works with the exception of creating a new livery (based on an existing livery) using the 'Addon Builder'. All other functions works (e.g., 'Addon Builder' works and 'Addon Manager' allows me to download addons and to install addons, which work flawlessly in-game). I run Windows 7 64-bit with above-average specs to run MS Flight (in fact, it runs flawlessly at high graphics levels). The problem occurs when trying to use the 'asset select screen' in the 'Addon Builder' v0.9.4, seen.
The program crashes ('Windows has encountered an error and needs to close'); however, this part of the program works when I downgrade to Flight Toolkit v0.7.3. I cannot find a debug/useful output of the error, but I just bring this to your attention. Thanks to your wonderful Toolkit, I have produced my first (albeit crude) livery - I will upload it shortly on Avsim. Thank you for your continued support of MS Flight - I forgot just how immersive it really is, and (sadly) just how much potential it did not realize.

Regards, jarsky. Thanks for the note.
Can you tell me what livery you are trying to base the new one off of? Does it crash no matter what livery you pick? Also, can you try disabling all the addons in the Addon Manager, and then try creating the livery again? If none of those work, you should be able to see the callstack of the crash in the Windows Event Viewer (Type 'Event Viewer' in the start menu, or start screen), select Windows Logs Application and look for errors in the addon builder (will have an error icon). @ stonelance: I am actually just about to upload my first livery to the. Anyway, I based my new livery on the Icon A5's 'Silver Lining 100th' livery; however, the program crashed regardless of (1) the livery I selected (this also occured when trying to select any of the other aircraft) and (2) whether addons were disabled in the Addon Manager. To downgrade version each time I want to create a new livery is not ideal; however, for whatever reason it works and it is really not a problem.

Regards, jarsky Just for information sake, I have the exact same problem. 0.9.4 will crash anytime in try to extract any livery; 0.7.3 works great.
I am running Vista 64, haven't tried it on Win 7 or 8 yet.
